He has a long-established legal academic life both in UK and Turkey as well as a professional career in universities, government and judiciary in Turkey. His academic works have focused on private international law, nationality, immigration and asylum law and human rights issues.
He also authors legal expert opinions for domestic and international litigation and draft reports in the area of the rule of law and human rights as well as various aspects of Turkish law.
